As a MyWorld Watershed Fellow at Bath Spa University, Gabby has been working with the museum team to explore how technology can transform responsible and sustainable access to the museum’s extraordinary Fashion Collection.
In this interactive session, you’ll will dive into the world of 3D modelling and augmented reality (AR), learning how technology can bring historical garments to life in stunning detail. Discover the Polycam app, used to scan and create virtual 3D models of unique pieces from our Bath Fashion Museum Collection. You’ll get hands-on experience by scanning a garment yourself and watching it transform into an AR object right before your eyes. No need to bring your own device—iPhones and iPads will be provided.
Drop in sessions are held at Bath Guildhall between 11am - 12.30pm, and 1pm - 3pm
